宋利明編寫的《金*魚延繩釣漁業中的魚類環境生物學和漁具性能研究(英文版)》利用2005年--2014年在印度洋公海海域和中西太平洋海域漂流金*魚延繩釣漁業調查所獲得的主要金*魚類、兼捕的鯊魚類和*魚類的生物學數據、漁獲數據、漁具作業參數和海洋環境數據，對金*魚類的漁業生物學、棲息環境、漂流金*魚延繩釣金*魚類漁獲率的計算方法、漁具和環境因素對漁獲率的影響等進行了分析研究，得出了大眼金*魚年齡與生長的關繫、闡明了印度洋公海海域黃鰭金*魚生物學特性發生變化的原因。
