汪火焰主編的《跨文化交際與英語語言教學--實
踐與展望》共分三個部分。
第一部分為跨文化交際。收錄了中美教師有關跨
文化交際類的論文，包括Gal Walker教授提出的“體
演教學法”的教學試驗研究、神話原型研究、從文化
視角研究木蘭這一傳統中國人物形像。以及文化適應
性教學研究等。
第二部分為語言教學。收錄了中美教師有關語言
教學方面的內容，既包括反映大學英語教學最新發展
的教學研究、大學英語拓展類課程的教學研究、新型
大學英語教學模式研究，也包括傳統的名詞詞組翻譯
研究、非英語專業學生學習策略研究、非英語專業學
生自主學習研究、以讀促寫研究等。語言教學類論文
遴選主要聚焦於英語語言學習過程和英語學習者心理
過程研究。
第三部分為語言學及應用語言學研究。收錄了中
國英語教師有關英語語言應用方面的研究。研究內容
包括詞彙意義關繫、語篇分析、復雜理論與焦慮關繫
、翻譯史跨學科研究方法、隱喻的概念遷移和文化整
合等。
