段兵廷主編的《土木工程專業英語（第3版普通
高等學校土木工程專業新編繫列教材）》是為高等院
校土木工程專業類學生選編的專業英語教材。
全書以土木工程為主線，繫統地介紹了土木工程
及其所包括的有關分支學科的基本內容和歷史概況，
如建築、橋梁、道路、交通、水壩、岩土、材料、經
濟與管理以及計算機的應用等。共編排二十四篇課文
作為課堂教學用。
每篇課文後附兩篇內容緊密相關的閱讀材料，注
重介紹世界土木工程界的名人、趣事、重大工程，供
教師指導學生閱讀，或者根據實際教學學時選作機動
教材。
本書也可作為從事土木工程的專業人員了解專業
