(4大學英語通識教程)》選擇的絕大部分文章源於互
聯網、經典著作或國內外的各種報刊及書籍，選材新
穎、題材廣泛、體裁多樣、信息量大。書中所有文章
都是與中西方文化相關的內容，充分體現語言作為文
化載體的作用，通過大量閱讀讓學生了解東西方文化
