王蕾、王素青主編的《醫學專業英語（供本科醫
學類各專業用）》以專門用途英語理論為指導，以國
外期刊文獻為主要選材來源，選材充分反映最新醫學
發展狀況，體現現代醫學理念。內容豐富多彩，包括
人體各繫統和器官、疾病、生命科學新趨勢等題材，
涵蓋醫學專業基礎文獻、病案分析、學術報告等。
教材主題鮮明，突出實用性。全書共12個單元（
Unit），以人體主要繫統為經線，以各繫統相關疾病
為緯線。每個單元圍繞同一個主題，文章體裁多樣。
學習者可以從不同角度深化了解人體各繫統及相關疾
病的英語表述，掌握學術英語和職業英語知識。本教
材從課文到練習、從選材到設計，編寫人員無一不在
“實用”上下工夫，力求達到學以致用。
本教材每單元包含兩篇必學課文（Text A：基礎
課程與Text B：強化課程）與一篇選學課文（Text C
：拓展課程）。練習設計原則上以讀寫譯為主，聽說
為輔，注重學生綜合學習能力（英語語言能力以及批
判性思維能力、解決問題的能力、合作學習能力、自
主學習能力）的提高。各單元構成如下：
第一，聽說部分包括一個與主題相關的情景對話
和兩篇短文，以信息的理解、歸納、判斷到語言的模
仿輸出為原則，設置任務練習。
第二，閱讀部分由與主題相關的最新、最前沿三
篇文章構成，由淺入深。配有單詞訓練（以醫學專業
詞彙為主）、課文理解等練習，旨在培養學生的閱讀
能力並擴大知識面、開闊視野。
第三，醫學詞彙部分繫統地編輯了醫學詞彙基本
結構、復數形式、與各章節相關的及常見的醫學英語
詞根、前綴、後綴、常用醫學短語及相關練習等，將
醫學英語的理論知識和實際應用相結合。
第四，寫作部分從醫務工作者的工作需求出發，
旨在提高學習者實際寫作能力，內容包括主訴、病史
、體檢、病程記錄、出院小結及不同類型的摘要寫作
等。
