詞彙加工的研究有助於揭示心理詞庫的結構和運行機制，因而一直是心理語言學領域一個頗為引人入勝的研究課題。本書的研究以中國英語學習者為研究對像，探討其復合詞加工，尤其是二語復合詞加工的情況。研究包含一個詞彙判斷實驗和兩個跨語言詞素啟動實驗，其中啟動實驗根據不同的啟動詞呈現時長又各自包含三個子實驗。
