《論語》是孔子弟子及再傳弟子記錄孔子及其弟子言行而編成的語錄文集，成書於戰國前期。全書以語錄體為主，敘事體為輔，較為集中地體現了孔子及儒家學派的政治主張、倫理思想、道德觀念及教育原則等，有恆久的價值。本書精選其中一百則，分為“論仁”“論禮”“論孝悌”“論政”“論知性”“論教與學”等主題，將孔子對道德、教育、修身、齊家、治國的看法和他的崇高理想繫統地表現出來。每篇均加中文注釋、生僻字注音以及全篇英譯、白話文翻譯。
