由**統計局城市社會經濟調查司主編的《中國城市統計年鋻(2015)(精)》鋻內容共分四個部分：**部分是全國城市行政區劃，列有不同區域、不同級別的城市分布情況；第二、三部分分別是地級以上城市統計資料和縣級城市統計資料，具體包括人口、勞動力及土地資源、綜合經濟、工業、交通運輸、郵電通信、貿易、外經、固定資產投資、教育、文化、衛生、人民生活、社會保障、市政公用事業和環境保護等方面的數據；第四部分是附錄，為主要統計指標解釋。需要說明的是，從1997年開始，地級以上城市和縣級城市分別采用不同的統計制度，有些指標在兩類城市之間不具有可比性，故本年鋻將地級以上城市和縣級城市統計資料分為獨立的兩部分。
