環太平洋靠前聲學會議（PRUAC）是由美國聲學學會、加拿大聲學學會、韓國聲學學會、中國聲學學會、杭州應用聲學研究所和浙江大學等聯合贊助的一個靠前性學術會議。第四屆環太平洋靠前聲學會議的主題是“水下聲學與海洋動力學”，主要研討了（1）水下內波觀察與預測，（2）環境不確實性以及與聲場的耦合，（3）環境噪聲與海洋動力學，（4）聲場的動態建模，（5）聲層析與海洋參數估計，（6）時反與匹配場處理，（7）水聲定位與通信，（8）測量儀器與平臺等有關內容。本書（文集）收錄了本次會議“水下聲學與海洋動力學”方面的20多篇論文。
